Discovery shows a handful of people who genuinely fit what you and they are both looking for. Some days that list is short. We would rather show you three people worth meeting than three hundred you will never message.
You do not like a person in the abstract — you like the photo or the answer that made you stop. That arrives with your like, so the first message has somewhere to start.
Every profile is a real person who signed up. There are no filler accounts, no bots, and no notification telling you someone liked you when nobody did. If we cannot show you a real number, we show you nothing.
A match is only the beginning. Erova helps turn that match into an actual plan with curated date ideas — places and activities that make the first meeting easier to think about.
Every photo is reviewed by a person before anyone else can see it. You can report or block from anywhere in the product, and blocking takes effect immediately and silently — the other person is not told. Your exact location never leaves our servers; other people see only the broad area you picked.
We will not tell you that Erova is completely safe, because no app can honestly say that. You are meeting strangers, and that carries real risk we cannot remove. What we can do is be specific about what we actually do, and give you the tools to act quickly when something is wrong.

You tell us your state and city when you set up your profile, and you can share an approximate location if you want distances to be more accurate — that is stored only as a rough area, never a precise position. Other people see your city and an approximate distance, and nothing finer. A dating product needs enough people nearby to work, so we open new areas as they fill rather than pretending every city is busy on day one.
If something has gone wrong, or you need to raise a complaint formally, our grievance channel reaches a person who can act on it.
